Most cat owners go to extraordinary lengths to keep any cats they have adopted in their homes, despite problems that may arise. Sometimes, however, severe behavior problems may leave owners faced with choosing between rehoming and euthanasia.
Rehoming is stressful on both the cat who needs a new home and the family who must release him. Most families run through multiple options before they reach this point. Serious aggression is one reason to consider rehoming.
