Choosing the Right Kitten

Choosing a new kitten to join your family is part gut feeling and part logical analysis. Things to keep in mind are where the kitten is from, any current or expected health needs, personality, and coat care. You can get a kitten from a breeder, a rescue or shelter, or out of the blue. There are pluses and minuses to each, and there is no wrong option. Primary differences are cost of the kitten and the amount of information you get about them.
